COFFEE AND A CHAT

I've got a coffee and taking five to chat. I think it's called a blog, but nah, that sounds too techy for my liking! You can message me about anything by clicking the Contact Me page on the navigation bar.

Sunday 20th October.

There's nothing like family enthusiasm for an event to get you going. Halloween is looming large and the crew are buzzing with ideas and suggestions .... for me! LOL.
I have to admit, apart from looking forward to the Pumpkin and Costume competitions on here and my facebook page, I hadn't thought past answering the door with sugar laden , tooth rotting goodies for the local kids. Not so, say the crew! No-one was moving until I had ordered a suitably gruesome costume and promised to present myself at their place for ensuing Halloween celebrations. I'm up for that. Everyone chimed in with ideas for the evening ranging from smoke machines covering the path with spooky fog and creepy music playing through the window to which horror film we were going to indulge in after our kids had gone safely to bed. Jury's still out.

Torrential rain on the way home put the damper on it all. My little car did not appreciate the lake of standing water that I had to drive through, and being low to the ground I didn't want to stall it, so I put my foot down ... and the water ripped a plate off from undeath the car and it was scraping on the floor. Son put on his Superman outfit and came to the rescue. Thanks Babe!

26th October ...
Well, that was an interesting week! What started with a cold ended up with full blown chest infection that took me off my feet for a few days, so progress on Winter Wolf a tad behind. Back on rack tomorrow. Promise!

29th October
